About The Groups

Much of our inventory gets put up for auction in these groups; it helps us decide what items we should add to our site, and price it affordably.

Posting items for auction is open to all our members.  Spring cleaning and have a pile of junk you need to get rid of? Post it for auction in one of our groups! Even if it only sells for  a dollar or two, that's a dollar or two you didn't have before!

Are you a small/home business that produces or specializes in something, or provides a service?  We invite you to join our groups and we can help you figure out how to auction your specialty or service. You'll probably take a financial cut, but it will be great free advertising.

We don't have many rules, and believe light moderation is a way to show respect to our members. Seller and buyer can work out their own pickup schedule. Many repeating conflicts, like "no shows", and "ghosting" can be very easily solved by blocking the offending member; and then, letting us know about it, so we can keep track of repeat offenders, and eventually take action if merited.

We're still experimenting with the groups, and testing different things; we want your input, suggestions and ideas to help us make it flow as sweet as possible, like Crown Royal on ice.

• POSTER/SELLER

1. All starting bids must start at one or two dollars
2. Bidding time window has to 24 to 48 hours
3. You can live anywhere you want, but if you post an item or service for auction in the Vanier Group, you must make yourself available for pickup of the item in the Vanier area (if buyer and seller negotiate an alternative that is not forced and it works better for them, we encourage it)

1. Bids placed must be in whole dollars
2. Please don't bid if you have no intention of picking up your winnings
